Welcome to the Margaret Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development!

The Warner School is a highly competitive graduate school offering programs in the areas of teaching and curriculum, counseling, human development, and educational leadership. Warner offers educators the opportunity to do more than just earn professional credentials with programs that prepare researchers and practitioners alike to make a profound impact on the world in which they live.

Our commitment to social justice and education reform is evident through our research and community outreach, and our interdisciplinary approach to study promotes change that significantly improves education and supports positive human development.

At Warner, you will be asked big questions about the future of education, and you will be actively engaged in finding creative answers. Warner students are leaders and agents of change, and individuals in our programs make a difference not just in their field of study, but also in individual lives.

Learn about Warner from one of our current students who is writing a blog about her experiences in both the Reading and Literacies and Urban Teaching and Leadership programs.

There are two ways to begin as a student at the Warner School: matriculated in a program of study, or as a non-matriculated student. You may wish to take a class or two while you prepare your application to one of Warner's programs. You may be interested in taking a course or two without pursuing a program at all. Contact our Admissions Office with questions regarding application to the School or non-matriculated registration.
